Beautiful in Thought layout by Chrissy
Hi there,
Today I am sharing my latest layout featuring the wonderful "Once Upon a Christmas" paper pack, (which is now on offer) a sheet of white card and the coordinating Watercolour cut-apart sheet.
The flourishes and Poinsettia are from my own stash - these are stamped and fussy cut. I have also added some fussy cut bits and pieces from other Uniquely Creative Cut-apart sheets that I had left over. I always keep a tray of these on my desk, as they are great for just adding extra little details.
Please see below a list of products and brief instructions

Brief instructions
- Use the grey stripy paper as your 12 x 12 base. Cut some white card down to 29.5cm x 29.5cm, then cut the red spotty paper down to 28.5cm x 28.5cm.
- Cut out circles from each of these papers, each one slightly bigger than the previous, leaving an edge of about 0.5cm. Sew using grey cotton around the edge and circle of the red spotty paper, I have also added some grey paper to the centre to cover up the base grey stripped paper.
- Fussy cut all the grey and red flowers and foliage from some of the other papers and fussy cut the flowers from the Cut-apart sheet.
- Layer up and cluster all your fussy cut elements around your photo and around the edge of the cut out circle. Use foam pads to some to give height, shape others, this all adds to the finished look.
I added links to the products I used at the bottom of this post.
I've used a few extras (grey cotton for hand stitching, Black pearls, stamped and fussy cut flourishes and Poinsettia) - you could use any flowers instead of the poinsettia and die-cut flourishes.
Happy Scrapping
